We just received our Front Runners Challenge for $1000.00 for the school from CVS Pharmacies and the Governor's Council. It was presented to us by Mrs. Sullenberger, whos husband was the pilot that saved allof the lives on board the plane he was flying when he landed (safely) in the Hudson River. The students really enjoyed hearing her version of what the family wnet through and how she dedicated herself in becomig fit. What a great achievment that our student have accomplished so far in being physically fit. This is such a great oppurtunity for any school to take advantage of this program. Again thank you CVS Pharamacy and The Governors Council for this great reward. Thank You, Rob Robinson Physical Education Fame Public Charter School

well i think this program has helped me out alot before the challenge i was a lazy overweight sixteen year old i weighed two hundred and ten pounds and now i only weigh one hundred and eighety five pounds i feel great i love to be able to run the mile without having to stop every certain time in the track while i watch all of my friends run past me it also feels great to have people look at you and say you sure do look thin today and the best part of it is going home and looking at yourself in the mirror and not feeling so bad about youre personal image actually saying tonight im gonna go show the world what im all about and that yes i might still be overweight but hey i bet i can run faster than you and do so many things you cant do and thats why i love the governors challenge and i just wanted to say thanx to the 24 hour fitness staff in La Mesa
