Well i am a very active girl, and once my school told us about the challenge i was so stoked! This was a fun way to watch how much i exercise every day. If you ever have a show on t.v. that you want to watch, watch it, just at commercials get down on the floor take a break and do some push ups or sit ups or sit in the splits it doesn't madder what you do, just so something productive. Don't let people tell you what to do with your life tell them!!!!!!!!

At the begining of the challenge I didn't think I would have enough time to complete the challenge. But it worked out great. Every once in a while i got out of my seat and played in my backyard. The governers challenge has been such a great opertunity to run, play, and live a long healthier life. My mother and my father think that the governer's challenge is truly inspiring to everyone in California. This is probably the most smartest things in the world. Because there are some kids who's lives are changed big time becasue of this wonderful idea. This is a notion sweeping the nation. This expierince has also helped my dog. my dog is very old and not in the best shape in the world. Well the vet said that my dog will only live one or two years longer. When I heard this news i was devastated. I started to cry. But then I heard about this great thing called the governor's challenge. Then to start this i started running around in my back yard. My dog would chase me. Then after a while i noticed my dog was loosing weight! I was so glad. We went back to the vet and he told me thay Sparky, my dog, will live 3 or four more years. When I was told this I was jumping with glee. Then I started to take my dog on walks. I was so proud of myself. Thank you so much governer and your challenge!

A few months ago, I signed my daughter up for karate lessons so that she would learn to be more assertive at school. After sitting in on a few classes, I realized I wanted to sign-up also. So, now both my daughter and I are not only gaining the wonderful physical benefits of karate, but are also developing mental acuity and strength of character from the same sport.
