Smiles to youth fitness. Del Rey School in

King City has won a state award for focusing on physical education. The kindergarten-sixth grade school was one of 11 to win a cash award from the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. In all, 1,165 schools competed. Congratulations and here's to hoping fitness and exercise catch on at more Salinas Valley schools.
