The Governator revved up the fitness challenge and students across the valley pulled their communities together with one goal in mind: Get fit and reap the many benefits.  One elementary school succeeded others and now Agua Caliente Elementary School will receive $6,000 in gym equipment and students there are "living like champions" because they won the Desert Sierra region of the state-wide challenge.  The Live Like a Champion Tour team spent the day with students. The tour is a coordinated effort of the Governor's Council and Anthem Blue Cross of California. The tour brings interactive games and sports-themed activities to help children bring out their "inner champions".  Next week all cities will get involved in a new Governor's Fitness Challenge. If you would like to get in shape and help out a school in your community call the school of your choice to get started. The Governor's Challenge Competition is to be active 30-60 minutes a day at least three days a week for a month and students are encouraged to involve their communities.
