In our Principal of the Year category we are looking for K-12 principals who have gone "above and beyond" their normal responsibilities to inspire increased physical activity levels for their students. We are especially looking for principals who have demonstrated their understanding of the correlation between physical fitness and academic success.

Describe how the Principal that is being nominated employed innovation, inspiration and/or initiative to significantly impact physical activity levels, fitness levels and the well being of California children and youth. We are looking for human interest stories that we can spotlight. Be as specific as possible with names, dates, places etc. - include quantifiable results.
