In our Teacher of the Year category we are looking for K-12 teachers who have gone "above and beyond" their normal responsibilities to inspire increased physical activity levels for their students. We are especially looking for teachers who have employed innovative strategies to help make physical activity and fitness fun and engaging for all their students.

Describe how the nominee employed innovation, inspiration and/or initiative to significantly impact physical activity levels, fitness levels and the well being of California children and youth. We are looking for human interest stories that we can spotlight. Be as specific as possible with names, dates, places etc.- include quantifiable results.
